South London

Helping you navigate life’s challenges from my practice in Brixton and Herne Hill.

London life moves fast, and it’s easy to feel left behind by the pace of it all. Whether it's the weight of overthinking, the exhaustion of 'performing' for others, or a feeling of being stuck in a cycle of stress, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I provide a calm, confidential space in Herne Hill and Brixton where the pressure stops. Together, we can figure out why you’re feeling this way and how you can start feeling like yourself again.

About Sam

I am a BACP-registered psychotherapist with a broad clinical background. My experience ranges from working with students in higher education to supporting neurodivergent adults and professionals in high-stress industries.

Before retraining as a therapist, I spent my first career in the demanding London events and hospitality sector. This experience gave me a real-world understanding of how heavy and overwhelming life in this city can feel where the constant pace and high expectations can leave you feeling disconnected, 'stuck,' or simply exhausted by the noise of it all.

“Sam listens and encourages new ways of thinking. There is always an openness and friendliness to our conversations.”

What to expect

I work integratively. In plain English, this means I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I collaborate with you to find a way of working that is as unique as your situation, ensuring the support you get is actually relevant to your life.

Understanding the why: We look at how your past experiences and relationships are influencing your present (a psychodynamic approach.)

Focusing on You: You're the expert on your own life. I provide the tools and the safe environment to help you grow (a person-centred approach).

"I really valued my sessions with Sam. He challenged me at times to reflect on my own attitudes, and encouraged me to be gentler on myself, always leaving space for me to come to my own conclusions which has helped me understand myself and my ways of thinking better in the long term.”
